Raised in Virginia, and along side her grandmother, Aunt Viv began her baking journey! She began baking her own signature cakes by the age of 10, creating delicious sweets for the entire neighborhood, family and friends! Aunt Viv relocated to Miami Florida, with her husband, and has been baking ever since! She went on to complete culinary school at Johnson & Wales University, with a specialty in baked goods! She has owned and operated her own catering company for over 40 years, delighting her clients with absolutely amazing desserts!
From the very beginning of her culinary path, one of her cakes reigned supreme...the Lemon Butter Pound Cake! It was requested by almost every client she served, from wedding cakes, to corporate events! This signature cake has created a name for itself! People have been known to scrape every crumb from the pan, and even hide slices for later enjoyment...Yes, its just that good! Its delicate buttery flavor is paired with exactly the right amount of lemon! This taste combination is completely addictive!
Aunt Viv believes in using the freshest of ingredients, accompanied with her time-tested recipes, but at long last... THE WAIT IS OVER! We have decided to sharing this baked masterpiece with the entire world!
Aunt Viv's youngest daughter, and serial entrepreneur, L. Celest, has the honor of taking the reins from her mother, and has created a distinct culinary vision for the Aunt Viv's brand! L. Celest believes that her mother's story of strength, creativity, and entrepreneurship, is one that will inspire a generation of leaders! Her mother's journey both enlightened and motivated her to start several successful businesses of her own! Her mother's dedication has fueled her passion and her pride in pushing their family's legacy even further! L. Celest is determined to share both her and her mother's empowering stories... one slice of lemon cake at a time!
